When
Buffalo Bill Cody died in 1917 he was the most recognized person
on Earth.
For the better part of 30 years Cody traveled the world with his
wild west show - trying to show the beauty, majesty, brutality,
and courage that was part of the western frontier. Such is and has
been the power of the Old West to hold peoples' admiration and imagination.
Our
poster paper is heavy duty stock, special ordered by the ream, and
is the closest we have found to actual parchment paper that would
have been used in the 19th century. It's heavy weight and won't
get torn or blown off the hitching post! We don't stain it
(reducing it's life) all our aging is done with graphics - making
them crisp and clear. Posters are all ~ 11" x 17" and
are shipped flat.

old hats, leather, pictures, posters, badges, or any other western

Luther
Sage "Yellowstone" Kelly was born in Geneva, New
York State, in 1849. He joined the Union Army near the end
of the Civil war and finished his enlistment in wild Army
outposts in Minnesota and the Dakota's. After his army stint
he headed further west and in the following decade he became
as familiar with the Upper Missouri and Yellowstone River
valleys as any white man of his time.
Kelly
was well educated and very well read, and apparently was prone
to quoting Shakespeare when the mood took him. He was famous
during his life and known to President Theodoe Roosevelt,
and other famous people of the day, including Buffalo Bill
Cody. When Cody was finally successful in getting the Yellowstone
River valley declared America's first National Park, in 1876,
Yellowstone Kelly was the man chosen to be the first Park
Ranger.

The
Sundance Kid and Etta Place
It's
unlikely there's a more shadowy figure in the Old West,
then Etta Place. There is no doubt that this was not
her real name, as Place was the Maiden name of Harry's
(the Sundance Kid) mother, and other women that were
associated with the Wild Bunch, used the alias also.
Virtually nothing is known of her other than the fact
she was reputed to be a school teacher, but there's
some that say she was a Texas prostitute that Butch
Cassidy took under his wing and gave a fake history
as a school Marm, so she could have a new start. A stunning,
timeless, beauty - she was seldom seen without the Sundance
Kid, and they often traveled together as man and wife.

Introduced in the spring of 2011 our hatbands are all made
by hand, and have that authentic Cowboy flavor to help you
stand out from the herd. We still won't sell the custom
hat bands that go with our great hats, but here's a selection
of 8 original hatband's to help you make your own statement.
We've
adapted a horn slider so every hat band ties off at the
back and is held in place by light pressure. It's surprising
fast and you can easily take our hatband off and put it
on a different hat. This design innovation gives a dang

Young
Guns Circa 1870
Charley
Utter, Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill Cody, Texas Jack Omohundro,
and Elisha Green. The photo that this poster was built around
was originally taken in the early 1870s. At the time these
men were performing in Ned Butlines "Scouts of the
Prairie". As bad as most of the acting was - Hickok's
stood out as the worst. The whole idea of acting was disagreeable
to Wild Bill and he left after about 6 months. Hickoks'
disdain can be seen on his face in this poster, and notice
how carefully the other men have their firearms staged around
them - except Wild Bill: He's stood his long arm upside
down!

The Masterson - Custom Cross Draw Holster
Canadian
Bat Masterson
was one of the most feared and respected "Shootist's"
of the Old West. He employed a cross-draw pull, and his skill
with a hand gun was such that everyone kept theirs holstered
with Masterson around. Own a classic custom holster inspired
by Bat's simple - yet elegant rig.
Shown in black cow hide, with heavy, plain black belt. In
the holster is a 45 Cal. Schofield Agent Model, with 3 1/2"
barrel - nickel plated. We will custom make to accommodate
the make, model, and calibre of your firearm. Side arm is
very secure when pushed down in the holster and comes with
